ORI-GEN

GIVING

ORI-GEN

GIVING

At Ori-gen, community is one of the key pillars our company was founded upon.  We have a personal understanding of the economic importance of small business success and we are committed to help build capacity and volunteer support in the communities we serve.  While not all community contributions are confined to specific geography, our primary offices are currently in California and Hawaii.

OUR FUNDING

PRIORITIES

At the heart of Ori-gen, we serve the needs of the community through a focused community donation program: Ori-gen Giving.  Although contribution amounts can vary, our typical donation is $500 – $10,000 per organization, per calendar year.  While Ori-gen may consider donations for other causes, the primary focus of the Ori-gen Giving program will be allocated towards the following:

Cultural Awareness
& Understanding

Ori-gen is dedicated to highlighting, preserving, and championing all cultures and heritages. Programs given priority would include projects that foster dialogue, understanding, and awareness within diverse communities that we currently serve.

Health &

Human Services

We are committed to advancing the health and well-being of the communities we live in. Programs we support include services to address homelessness, food pantries & resource distribution programs in disadvantaged communities, and mental health programs.

Community Development

& Education

A priority of Ori-gen is supporting organizations that provide capacity building to positively impact other not for profit organizations.  Examples of some projects might include scholarship programs, economic development programs (i.e. social justice or community re-vitalization projects), and minority-specific educational programs.

Minority & Small Business Economic Development

As a minority-owned business, we understand the importance of supporting minority and women-owned businesses within our local communities in order to help these businesses grow.  Ori-gen is also interested in making social investments in disadvantaged communities by working with community partners.

Youth Development

Investing in the next generation is ingrained in our DNA.  We are committed to supporting the next generation of insurance professionals, business owners, and community leaders. Programs given priority would include internship programs, career development programs, mentorship programs, and skill-development programs.
